Batman: The Killing Joke #1 |

Probably the most solid story of the Joker, you can't go wrong with this one, Alan Moore did it again. |

Odd epilogue that ruins it, the Killing Joke is the Killing Joke, it doesn't deserve this kind of weak "Happy Ending" a bit dissapointed to be honest, It was fine till that. |

I have to say as much as a like Tom King's take on Mr Miracle, probably one of my favorite comic books ever, the mental health theme here didn't really work, in general it feels weak and poorly portrayed, especially the BatFam members (Meow...), this issue itself is kind of a mess but that has been for the last 3 or 4. I can't stop thinking behind all this mess is a good story to tell but it wasn't the case. You could've have done alot of things diferently, hell they could've saved everyone, they had the resources... I get it King wanted death to mean something, i guess, but what does really meant? Why all this "therapy" if you're just talking to a robot or bashing yourself all the time and then all gets deleted? That's not really therapy that's like yelling help in an empty room. I feel sorry because I thought this had potential but in reality, other than the artwork (that is phenomenal most of the time) everything felt kinda poor. |
