I honestly have no hope for Tim's robin solo after this issue. Too wordy, very boring for a number one Issue, and characters really act and talk out of character.

Please don't make me miss Bendis's run

Artemis: Wanted (2022) #1 Jul 20, 2022

It's finally over. The rating is only for art. The script is still bad. Although i had a chuckle where Clark dressed himself and Lois super fast cause it reminded me of a much superior batman and superman story and i came back to reality and remembered i was reading this.

Why won't this thing end?

batman letting Talia walk away so easily is stupid as hell. Not only it undermines the whole ending of Talia with shadow war and her "understanding" her wrong doings but also undermines batman's justice as well like why Talia won't face time in jail for all of the people she has killed both in leviathan and Shadow war and easily let go. If the problem is that no prison can hold her batman has already constructed a prison in the Batman book that can take care of people like Talia. Also why would the organization work with Talia?from everything they know she's the daughter of ra's Al ghoul and the leader of the league of assassins and could be lying. It wouldn't be the first time.

I still don't know how to feel about this direction for Damian personally. I know this series is mostly a set up for Lazarus planet stuff and the whole things he is doing right now is cause of demon Nehza but I don't know if I completely understand how is that a more interesting direction for his character in comparison to his direction in his recent series. Like if it's to establish him more in the magical side of DC wouldn't have been be better to put him on Shadowpact with characters like Tracy-13 and jakeem thunder and other younger magic users?

Ain't gonna lie, this run reads like a Weird fanfic. And it's too wordy.

Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths (2022) #2 Jul 5, 2022

I don't know why but i still can't get invested in this. In terms of scale and consequences it feels more like the week's crossover than a full-blown crisis. And i personally don't care about pariah and the dark Army. And in all honesty i think that's what this crisis lacks, a good villain. In comparison to other crisis events like Infinite crisis or final crisis the villain of this one pales in comparison. Also the characters act weird. They act like they haven't faced any other crisis before. Especially the titans. They should be a lot tougher than This.

I think people are too angry about John's characterization. Though wasn't a fan of the art and the couple of dialogues here and there.

Felt like a waste of time.

The latest issue wasn't bad but continues the problems i have with it. First the plot progression is so slow, Unfortunately Taylor seems to be acting like this is an overarching story but doesn't have the material to fill the gaps between so what he does is a lot of cross overs. And even with the info about heartless that we got just how long Taylor is going to wait before using him better, give him more character and him to be more challenging? To me it's like the way he's expending the sister character, using her but not giving her much character of her own. Second is that so Many things continue to happen so convenient and Nightwing doesn't face much challenge at all. like some of the world's best assassins are there to kill him? No worries cause flash is there to punch them and joke about it, it's good to see the connections between the characters but it'd be great to see the character be challenged. You don't see batman Calling superman to deal with Bane each time. Third is that if Taylor wants to be meta and use problems in book to make statements please at least do it in a way that's more well thought-out than what what a three year old comes up with that has no experience of the world around it. Fourth please write blockbuster more confident. he act so like an amaturs and without much experience, the dude has a very big history, he should be acting a lot better. The last one is the sister character. she's so shallow and boring that I don't even remember her name. Like what's special about her? What are her characteristics? A year has passed but nothing of interest has been revealed about her.

Honestly it's good to see this book have another story than blockbuster throwing Canon fodders at dick and this book having some actual story progression and stakes. The problem for me is that those stakes are tied to a character that barley has any character build up after her introduction and her being in

I wish something interesting came out of this crossovers instead of them just being there to fight Canon fodders and bystanders. I wish there was a bigger lesson learned by them being there Like one of the consistent things in this book is Grayson trying to help the homeless and Raven could've mentioned the fact how her mother used to be homeless and how that led her to be manipulated when she was only seeking some shelter and help. Maybe mention how greatful she's that there was someone to help her and even though not everyone is going to be manipulated by a Demon worshipping Cult but everyone could use some help at their lowest and how happy she is that someone is doing it for others. That's a lesson there damnit. but all of them so far have just been to say : oh Grayson is a great guy. And I think I can say that most people know That's the case. Why not put some twist on it?

I hate to be that Guy but for a book that's only one issue till ending this one achieved so little in terms of story and the plot points it introduced previously. Also I can't shake the fact that as decent as this run has been I prefer the Gleason's run more. That run was clearly a redemption arc and establishing secondary and supporting cast for Damian and did it much better imo. Also it was a better structured character redemption considering it acknowledged Damian's deeds and moved the character past them though this one just ignores most of them. But that's just my opinion.

I don't like how the script let's Talia Just go without much Consequence despite all of her actions both here and in the leviathan. same with Damian, he still hasn't answered for Killing brother blood and imprisoning people. i just hate how everything has Lost its meaning and Consequences.

In all honesty 10 pages for a dream and vision that we know is never going to come I a lot. And in all honesty I don't care for the main villain anymore. To me all of his goals and doings are for just for the sake of him being evil. And unfortunately he doesn't have the reasoning of lex luthor or his charm to make me care for him.

Still disappointed with Bendix as a villain and frankly imo the arc with him has dragged long enough. Not a fan of the art either. I think thks book's art was a lot better when the old artist was on it.

Personally wasn't really a fan of the art. The faces really looked weird at some points. And the reveal with the villain, Taylor seems to be going for meta commentary again much like he did in his X-Men red book and personally it doesn't work for me for the same reason it didn't work there, Taylor is not really good at doing meta commentary.

Catwoman (2018) #45 Jul 20, 2022

It's not bad. i just find the character interactions and responses a little bit jarring. like Kara's response to John's request to join him. also the league might be dead but dc has more powerful characters then the ones that died in the issue 75. Like Raven should be lot more powerful than Zattana considering she doesn't have upside down man inside her anymore and with dr.fate with her they should be a force to reckon with. aslo they have characters like jakeeem thunder on their side that are as powerful as 5th dimensional imps. not to mention a full planet of daxamites. so excuse me for not buying the whole thing about now that the league is dead they're in a very bad shape.

although it was nice to see the mention of Titans in the last issue wasn't just some throw away line for fan service, imo it would've worked better if it had more building up to it rather than just half an issue. another problem i have with this book is that it's introducing so many new characters, i think Taylor is doing it partially because he believes that most people know them already because of the main universe, the problem comes from the fact This is not something like dceased or injustice that were based on the main universe with a twist like superman becoming evil or Justice League having to fight zombies. now it's totally something new and so should be the character and their respective characterization. and i think this kind of stuff really doesn't let the book have the character moments it needs between all of the characters or for their motivation to be expanded upon nor their characters to grow on people. also i hope the old artist comes back. i think this series really needs that old artist or at least a better consistency in the replacements.

there's a decent story buried under that opening and some really headache giving dialogues. i hope the next issue is better.

I kinda liked this issue but I think that it felt rushed at some points like the stuff with brainiac and the reveal felt like it should've the end of issue 2 or 3. And the stuff with the inflected superman i wish it had more importance to it. The previous series hint at him having a bigger role and being a more important part of the story as a threat not something that's resolved this fast and felt like the whole building up to it was for nothing for the most part. The art still isn't of my liking. Personally I'd put the artist of the task force z book on this considering they seem to capture gore Better at least imo.

Could've been stronger though Williamson isn't really known for his endings.

I wasn't really a fan of how petty Dick Grayson was in this issue. Also i think this issue will be read better in a trade. The art is good as usual.

Didn't like the part with Ra's. it was kind of foolish for Ra's to act like that and do the whole information exposure in public. and art was bad for me. other than that it was solid.

Robin (2021) #11 Feb 22, 2022

Feels like they just wanted to Finish the arc before the shadow war maybe that's why it feels another issue is missing. i just hope shadow war is as good as they making it to be.

It's fun and has been consistently good. Though a problem I have with is that the last two issues seems to be slower than the others which kinda damages the pacing but still fun.

Just for the first story. It was really cool and awesome. The premise of a more monster hunter type of Batman is executed very well imo. And the designs are also cool.
