It's clear from this issue that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers won't be immediately rushing into its next major conflict. And why should it? This chapter serves as a chance for the team to regroup and come to terms with a world free from giant monster attacks. The portion of downtime is unfortunately the weakest part of the issue from an art perspective, suffering from a lack of detail in places, but this sentiment doesn't linger for long as Higgins gets back to the big stuff in an issue which allows you to jump-on and take a cursory glance and what this series is looking to do moving forward. This issue comes right after a huge 16 story arc, its a nice transition. If you're picking this up for the first time, give it another issue to pick up speed. You're in for a wild ride with Kyle Higgins in the hot seat. In the mean time, go grab issues 1-16, its worth it. Trust me.
