Once upon a time, the idea that Clark Kent could be corrupted would have been unthinkable, but now one villain is about to take advantage of his troubles! As more and more people turn on the Man of Steel, how long before Superman turns to the dark side? What evil force is orchestrating all this?
This creative team pulled off the theme ofAction Comics #46 in a spectacular way. Action Comics continues to be a book worth giving a chance if you want to see an interesting take on a corrupted Superman. Read Full Review
Pak strikes a balance between letting Clark's darker side come out while still respecting the fundamentally good man beneath. If anything, this reads less like "Evil Superman" and more like a weary hero finally getting the chance to cut loose and enjoy himself again. Read Full Review

I enjoyed this issue enough, but it did come across as a bunch of scenes forced together to get things moving along. We learn some new Shadow powers, kind of find out Wrath's ultimate plan and watch Superman start an awesome fight that doesn't make much sense, but I can't wait to see more of. The art in this issue is top notch, but even though I enjoyed it, I still can't recommend it to everyone. I have to admit that I want a return to the traditional cape but with the way Kuder and Pak have written it so far–I'm not rushing Superman's return to power anytime soon. Read Full Review
Anyways, I am completely bored with The Truth. I am bored with this depowered, angry, vengeful, uninspirational Superman. I don't know if I can say it any more bluntly. Let's put it this way. In the 70s, Superman lost his powers for 3 issues. He built the Supermobile and fought crimes and villains, never losing his way. In 2015, Superman loses his powers and it has lasted too long. And Superman has lost his way. Read Full Review
