Batman/Superman #12 " To see Superman and Batman defeated on their own home court of the Batcave (Not the Fortress of Solitude".) is pretty astounding. Tom Taylor's work on DCeased is worthy of this digital treatment in the cave. But to catapult them into a confrontation with inhabitants of Planet Brainiac that look to be doppelgangers of their greatest defeats. This is going to be a book for the ages. Read Full Review

While this issue does have a hard sci-fi bend, it also has an intriguing detective vibe that makes good use of two of the lesser-used heroes in the Batman and Superman families. It's the start of another strong arc by Williamson on the best team-up book in years. Read Full Review
And then the garbled message continues.Superman and Batman are on the dark side of the moon. Given the battered appearance of Batman, Steel and Batwoman assume it is a call for help. And so World's Finest springs into action!I like this!Sort of a The Brave and the Bold cover shot. Read Full Review
The story is great. It is fast paced and crazy and hell of a lot of fun. The art isn't my favorite but it works. This book is always enjoyable. I had a lot of fun reading this and I hope we get more stories just like this one. Read Full Review
Artist Max Raynor and colorist Alejandro Sanchez are up to that summer blockbuster challenge as well, and are the perfect fit for this quite delightful DC popcorn flick. Read Full Review
Max Raynor does some impressive work with the art in the issue. The characters look great and I loved the design of the backgrounds and panels. A great looking issue. Read Full Review
Batman/Superman #12 is a wonky but fun setup to Williamson's Planet Brainiac arc. I need a little more solid footing next issue, because while I love the Silver Age feel here, the overall story doesn't have much meat to it yet. I liked Max Raynor's art, and love getting a Batwoman/Steel team-up. I hope this is finally the arc that gets me fully interested in this book. Read Full Review
This book does a fine job of setting up this arc and manages to create intrigue in the opening pages. However, as the book goes on a number of questionable narrative choices show up, and the art, while entirely functional, can be a little rough around the edges at times. All things considered, this is an entertaining issue, even if there isn't much to be found underneath the chaotic action. Read Full Review
I actually liked this one a lot! I don’t know why, but I’m not going to question it too much!
Excited to see more of batwoman and steel
This was fine. Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad, per se. It's just there.
