While not entirely on par with the work Tony Daniel has done, Ryan Benjamin's pencils do a good enough job, especially considering his fill-in status. I'm not usually a fan of switching artists for a single issue or two when in the midst of a long creator run, but Benjamin's style seems close enough to Daniel's that it isn't too distracting from the tone set by the series regular. Again, it's not a bad outing by any means, it's just that Morrison has set the bar so high with his work on this title that anything less than brilliant is bound to disappoint on some level, no matter how small. This issue might be considered a prologue to the upcoming "Batman R.I.P." storyline, but, in fact, every Morrison Batman story since "52" #30 has been the prologue. All in all, despite this being a below-par issue compared to the last few, Im still enjoying this title. Im still confident that Morrisons run on Batman is going to turn out in much the same way that his New X-Men run did--a well-written overall story that reads better as a whole than it did in individual installments, marred only by uneven and inconsistent art teams. Batman #675 was a good issue. Morrison cranks up the intensity on this title and gets the reader on the edge of their seat just before the start of the new Batman R.I.P. story arc. I have a good feeling that Morrison has an excellent story arc in line for us. If you have not jumped on Morrison's Batman, then it might be worth your while jumping aboard next month just in time for Batman R.I.P. Read Full Review
All in all, Batman #675 is like that mandatory pick-up that you don't want to make; because like every issue in any story that Grant Morrison's writing, this book has the potential to be reread another time in the future for some reference. It's disappointing though that there isn't any in depth exploration of Batman's character in this issue or any exciting moments. Read Full Review
Nightwing and Tim drake teams ups are all I ever want
An important action took place, but it still feels like filler issue.Also, the absence of Tony Daniel is a negative factor.
"Damian is a wonderchild. And Batman, his father, belongs to me. Not to her."
