This issue is a perfect penultimate chapter to a saga of this magnitude and quality. Theres a cliffhanger because its unknown what exactly will happen. Solicitations suggest that the Green Lanterns survive, but everything changes and I cant wait to see how this all plays out. Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis are an amazing team and have made this saga one of the finest examples of comic book storytelling in a very long time. This saga has truly eclipsed other big events of recent years and even if you arent a Green Lantern fan, its one of the best superhero storylines of all time. Obviously, this is my Pick of the Week. Green Lantern #24 was another superb read. Johns keeps the ball rolling as he throws more twists and turns at the reader with this Sinestro War storyline. Right now there is no other title on the market that can match the intensity and excitement of Green Lantern. If you still haven't given this title a try, then definitely do so. Arguably Superman is the most powerful Meta-Human in the DC Universe while it has been stated that the Green Lantern ring is the most powerful weapon. So what happens when you get a Superboy, half a Superman and a Yellow Lantern together? A lot of trouble for the planet Earth. Then to top it all off they bring the Anti-Monitor?
