Dec 22, 2019I love this creative team. I think Jody Houser is smart and Adriana Melo is a top 10 working artist. I enjoy the love and passion between Harley and Ivy. This is a good book and the characters are really wonderful. However, this issue just comes up short. I would not dissuade anyone from finishing up the series, but just know that this will be a quick read that will be easily forgotten. Read Full Review

Dec 11, 2019If you weren't rooting for them before Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy #4 is a fun comic bound to make you look back twice. But if you're a returning fan of this duo, you will be sure to soak in this content like osmosis. Read Full Review

Dec 21, 2019Overall, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy #4 is a good, not great continuation in the mini-series. It has plenty of fan service but not quite enough depth of plot to carry the story forward in a meaningful way. Read Full Review

Dec 11, 2019Harley and Ivy's odd road trip has passed the halfway point with Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy #4, and while it's great to see the girlfriends get a series devoted to their joint adventures, I wish those adventures were as good as the characters. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - Kate Sanchez
Dec 11, 2019While this doesn't mean that Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy #4 is bad, it does leave me wanting a more cohesive story with more character development for our leads and the villain chasing them across the country. Overall, this issue is fun, but not much else. Read Full Review

Dec 11, 2019All in all, it's a perfectly fine issue but doesn't really innovate or explore the characters in any sort of interesting way. Read Full Review

Dec 12, 2019It's an inoffensive book with the occasional genuinely fun moment, but it's not much more than that; your mileage will vary entirely on how much you want to see these characters interact. I enjoy the two as a pair, even if I'd prefer to see them as a couple, so I'm having a good time with this! I just hope that in the future, Houser and Melo can feel like they can take more risks with books like this. There's some genuinely good stuff here, and I want to see it shine. Read Full Review
