Jan 08, 2020The ending is a head-scratcher, a big twist that seems like it might be too big to resolve with only one issue left. But an ambitious final issue is a good sign that DC is ready to build on the success of this series and give us more of these two as a pairing. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - Kate Snchez
Jan 08, 2020Truthfully, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy #5is a fun read, but it's at its best when it's showing us the characters' relationships. That being said, the art and colors from Melo, Morales, and Hi-Fi are vibrant and dynamic. This miniseries is just happy, it's joyful, and it's fun and that's all it needs to be. With one issue left, the reveal of a hidden baddie at the end of the issues sets up for a killer last issue next month and I'm excited to pick it up. Read Full Review

Jan 08, 2020While I still have hopes for something special, this book seems content to coast to the finish line. Jody Houser throws obstacles at our heroes, but they just seem to be there to take up time and space and so, never feel like a real threat. The art by Adriana Melo is great and the cliffhanger promises so craziness next issue. Read Full Review

Jan 09, 2020This book is a good time if you want to relax and read something that's low-stakes, fun and wholesome " however wholesome former villains turned sort-of-heroes can be. I just don't think this issue in particular is completely solid, and I hope that the final issue has the development time it needs to be a satisfying conclusion. Read Full Review
