Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy #6 is undeniably a well executed book, and if there's one thing for sure, it's that this entire series will be an undisputed hit with the legion of fans who seemingly can't get enough of Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy together. Read Full Review

Dark Knight News - Fay Clark

The first 5 pages got to me and I knew then we were in for a ride. There's so much vulnerability and anger… but enough about me. Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy have been through green hell and back together, as Jody Houser has thrown some punches and grenades at them along the way. All we can do now is hope against hope that they recover and remember, it's better to be crazy together than crazy alone. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Khadjiah Johnson

This was one of my favorite scenes of the limited series because the creative team was able to breakdown vulnerability and anger and display it across “happy colors.” Disrupting the sadness with brightness and it felt poetic because we noticed the brightness of growth and yet sometimes bright colors are harsh on the eyes and it often disrupts our vision. This series was a great reflection of the path towards leaving things behind and sometimes that means letting someone go in order to fulfill your own healing. Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Nicholas Finch

This book has had a series of ups and downs for me, but it also means a lot on a personal level: this is the first series I have reviewed to its conclusion, for better or for worse (better!). I have to thank Jodie Houser and Adriana Melo for giving me so much to talk about, and for being incredibly kind enough as to notice my review of their first issue together. I can't give this book a strong recommendation, but if you're looking for an extended episode of Batman: The Animated Series that stars these two and manages to stick the landing, you can't find much better than this. But Why Tho? - Kate Snchez

Melo's art wonderful, as it has been this entire mini-series and Morales' inks are strong and defined that makes each piece of the character pop. Additionally, Hi-Fi's colors are perfection. That said, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy #6 isn't the strongest issue of the series, instead, I can see it dividing friends of the two. Not because of Ivy's hero or villain identity but because of how they separate in the end. Read Full Review

    Weird Science - Jim Werner

    Feb 12, 2020

After the disturbing and disgusting Heroes in Crisis, DC Comics pushed this mini-series as a rebirth for Poison Ivy.  Well, it looks like they screwed up two rebirths if my count is right!  This non-ending is a slap in the face to fans of the character and ended up feeling like the worst kind of money grab.  I liked the art in this finale, but not much else. While Adriana Melo's art is fantastic in this issue, that's really only the compliment I can give for a miniseries that wholly misses the mark on the Harley/Ivy dynamic and feels like an attempt to "reset" the characters for whatever is coming next. Read Full Review
