In this shocking conclusion, Justice League Incarnate must face their worst threat yet: each other! With half the team under the control of the forces of darkness, what chance do they have of stopping Darkseid from achieving his ultimate victory? No matter who wins, everyone loses because the real crisis has yet to come...
Ultimately, Justice League Incarnate, like Infinite Crisis before it, is meant to set up DC's major crossover event, Dark Crisis. And it has admirably served this purpose. I am stoked to see what Williamson has planned next in Justice League's final issue and for Dark Crisis after that. Read Full Review
From battles of gods with voices that boom in your head, to Captain Carrot's quips, and the definitive Flash running in the opposite direction of danger while legacies are passed down and the weight of existence is tested against some of the most powerful wills in DC's orrery of worlds, Justice League Incarnate : World's End is a bleak story promising that things will only get darker, tying directly into the upcoming "Death of The Justice League" and "Dark Crisis". Justice League Incarnate #5 may feel bittersweet as an ending that comes too soon, but absolutely hits it out of the park in every aspect. Bring onDark Crisis! Read Full Review
Overall, this final issue seems a little hurried at times, likely due to having to do so much to set up the next chapter. But Williamson is probably the top guy for DC lore right now, and he's done more than enough to get me stoked for Dark Crisis. Read Full Review
Final Verdict: Don't unbuckle your seatbelt just yet… Williamson's wild ride is just getting started. Read Full Review
Justice League Incarnate #5 brings the multiversal heroes' story to a close and sets the stage for the upcoming Dark Crisis storyline. This is the most invested I've been in an ongoing DC storyline in years. and I look forward to what Williamson brings to the table in his upcoming stories. Read Full Review
Bressan and Merino deliver some great, classic art in this issue. The style is perfect for the story, characters and tone. Read Full Review
Justice League Incarnate is an easy recommendation for fans of the characters. In the end the series was more a fun character study than a pivotal step on the road to Dark Crisis and the Death of the Justice League. Read Full Review
Overall the miniseries is worth a read if you're keeping up with DC's major events, but most of these cliff notes will likely get covered in the upcoming events. Read Full Review
Very brutal issue. I'm hyped for the dark crisis
A good ending to this mini-series. It's not bad, but its not great either. We'll just have to see whats gonna happen next.
This was a good end to an uneven, yet exciting miniseries. I was way more into the Infinite Frontier event, and while I'm sick of big events at DC, I do have some hope for Dark Crisis. I just hope it's written more like IF was. This doesn't really wrap anything up, and I wonder if that's all being saved for JL #75.
Worth reading I suppose. I liked the lineup of characters. The existential threats to the DC multiverse are getting somewhat tiresome, darkseid is a little boring.
Não me deixa satisfeito nem com boas expectativas para o que está por vir.
I am really confused with the Great Darkness as a concept after reading this.
