    Pop Culture Uncovered - Brett I Jan 15, 2015

The story here was first an origin tale for Magog and a battle between the three which I previously mentioned. The biggest plus of the issue for me is Tomasis character moments in these two scenes. Firstly, Tomasi makes Magog a much more viable and well fleshed out flawed man than I thought he was pre New 52, in that he harbors some anger toward Superman and Wonder Woman for not saving everyone during the War against Darkseid. Even though the rest of the issue is a big fight (more or less) with the last page showing whos controlling Magogs rage, Tomasi inserts great moments between Superman and Wonder Woman. What I love about these is that basically Superman wants to help Diana in fighting Magog, even though Magog is powered by magic, one of the only things that Superman is damaged by. Diana more or less says, "stop being a macho idiot, I am the God of War, let me do what I do best and kick this guys ass." With haphazard visuals and a troubling depiction of Wonder Woman, this issue is a major disappointment. Read Full Review

Supergirl Comic Box Commentary - Anj Jan 19, 2015

I really liked the Doug Mahnke art but the Ed Benes stuff seems a bit rough. Their styles aren't complementary making this a tough read. I guess I'll give this title until the end of the arc. And then I'll make a decision about moving forward. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - Doug Zawisza Jan 15, 2015

"Superman/Wonder Woman" #15 has enough talented creators involved that it should have been a much nicer comic book. Hopefully, the next issue will be a bit more polished. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner Jan 15, 2015

What happened to one of my favorite books?  After only a few issues, Peter J. Tomasi has made it almost unrecognizable.  What he has done to Wonder Woman is atrocious, confusing blind blood lust with strength.  If it continues down this path, I don't see any reason for it to exist. Newsarama - Brian Bannen Jan 19, 2015

The changes in character may be part of a long term goal for Peter J. Tomasi, but the series has yet to find its footing. The final page climax has potential, especially given the direness of the situation, but the action that precedes it fails to give a new villain's entrance the shock it aims for. Instead I'm left questioning the decisions made by the editorial staff. Superman/Wonder Woman has so much promise. DC needs to keep it simple if they want the series to succeed. Read Full Review
