FINAL ISSUE! In the shadow of the new Titans Tower, the students and faculty decide whether the school is the right place for them.
Teen Titans Academy #15 is a fantastic final issue of this series from Tim Sheridan and Tom Derenick. While it's inevitable that the Titans will return in some form, I hope that Tim will be afforded the opportunity to complete his Titans story. Read Full Review
While I'm bummed to see this particular incarnation of Teen Titans Academy go, Tim Sheridan, Tom Derenick, and company craft a finale that feels fitting for the series, as well as a good foundation for future stories to be told in the DC universe. Read Full Review
This is a final issue with a lot going ontoo much, as several plotlines are left completely unresolved. Read Full Review
While you will get some excellent art and colors in this book, that's about all I can say that I enjoyed in this final issue of Teen Titans Academy. The stories end without ever really going everywhere and even the concept of leaving characters how you found them so others can use them later on became convoluted in this finale, where nothing really feels like it ends well and silly jokes make up the majority of the thought put behind this book. Teen Titans Academy had plenty of potential, but never managed to do anything more than just introduce some interesting characters. Maybe in the hands of another instructor writer, these characters and this premise can earn high honors. Read Full Review
This series was inspired by the many years of Teen Titans history and hopeful glimpses at what may come in the future. Unfortunately Teen Titans Academy fails to add to that history in ways that will be remembered. Read Full Review
Mediocre ending with still some cringe dialogue. The series had hope but turned into a real poop show. Oh well it ended but didn’t.
This series, despite popular consensus, did actually have potential. It was just crushed by the weight of way too many characters, and a much too convoluted story.
The saddest part of everything is this is probably the best issue of the entire run and still is barely regular. Too bad the characters ended up being so lame because some of them are very interesting. This book should be only for this new characters and another book about the Titans and red x. What a waste of potential. Tim Sheridan, you nailed man, you really outpassed Bendis as the worst writter on DC modern era.
A real shit show, why did we merge beast boy and cyborg if only to have them separate couple issues later. it like they knew the idea was shit but they were like we like it so we do it but not for long. it's supposed to end the school but it doesn't even do that properly as there other storylines they had to wrap, which has the problem of the book since beginning it had ideas but didn't know how to execute it. and there are some references to some relationships which literally has no need or chemistry (and isn't he with the other person💁🏻). Good that this book is over.
