While we are a good bit into this series, I would strongly recommend it to fans of Watchmen and, yes, BvS. Issue #3 is an issue where nothing really happened in terms of fists being thrown, and yet I find it the most artistically intricate and superb issue of the three released so far. Although not as action packed as the previous issues, issue three of Jupiter’s Legacy 2 does more to advance the story and bring depth to the characters than any physical contest could. As so much of the parent series dealt with the first generation of superheroes looking down on their children for, in their opinion, not living up to their potential, it is a wonderfully change to have a second generation hero looking at his father with disappointment as he begins to learn that perhaps the first generation of heroes were just as complicated as their children. Miller and Quitely’s work in this issue, as it has been for the rest of the series, is phenomenal and will leave you pining for the next issue. Read Full Review

Grab this book, seek out the back issues and trust in this comic to satisfy your need for superheroes blended with genuine,thoughtfuldrama. Itsgimmick free, direct and to the point and manages to engage on so many levels. Although this issue was slower paced and didnt progress a great deal, the deliberate gradual pace was needed to help establish these new and complex relationships. Overall Im really enjoying the character development and the interesting relationship dynamics that are forming. Im looking forward to when the next issue comes out and we get to see more of the super-villains plan to break into Supermax. Millar is laying the foundations for an all mighty raid and I cant wait to see how its all going to unfold. Read Full Review
