We are already beginning the second story arc! In fact, go out and get the Full Throttle Dark story line in inTrade Paperback . If you are not hooked yet, here is a link to the first issue. The cast is expanding as Snyder and Daniel are marching either towards light in the Great PM or further darkness. It's a futuristic Stephen King type tale that keeps getting better and better. Nocterra #7 makes a triumphant return with a story that feels bigger and even more dangerous than the last arc. I like that we're also starting to dig more into the mystery of what actually happened to cause the Big PM. Is there actually a way to reverse it, or is that only a MacGuffin? Either way, this is a gripping and fast-paced read. Read Full Review

Daniel delivers some beautifully detailed and thrilling imagery on every page of this issue. The action is thrilling and there are some great visual scares to be found throughout. Read Full Review
In an issue that opens with some truly cool creature designs by Tony S. Daniel, Scott Snyder does a great job of recapping enough to get readers back up to speed, without losing any kind of momentum as he interrupts your expository bliss with loud, bright moments of violence. Read Full Review
Nocterra #7 does some great world-building and sets this new story arc on its road. Its a little too fast-paced at times and the art isnt perfect throughout, but its still a good book. Read Full Review

Nocterra #7launches the series' second story arc, featuring an expanded cast and a new mission to save the world. With the Sundogs' mission now pitting them against Blacktop Billwho's proven to be an absolute monsterthe series has taken quite the turn and I can't help but feel more horror is lurking in the dark, waiting to leap out at readers when they least expect it. Like the way this new arc is headed. Art is still strong. Theres a good feel on these characters and the stakes. Hoping we get to see more of what Blacktop Bills whole deal is soon.
