Stanley Dance is back in town, but nobody's happy to see him-especially not his son. The fight game's changed a lot since Stanley last stepped in the ring...but this is Vegas, where luck is always changing...and tomorrow, he might just come up big.

    Kabooooom - Matt Morrison Nov 9, 2017

This second issue of Slots is heavy on the exposition and low on action but Dan Panosian is as good a storyteller as he is an artist and makes it a riveting read anyway. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Doug Warren Nov 8, 2017

I fell like that is about all I can say without crossing the line into spoilers. But just know, as the story gets deeper, there is more edge of your seat excitement that will definitely make you come back month after month. Another top-notch issue. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Andrew McAvoy Nov 11, 2017

It's like this. If you want your comics to be action packed and filled with caped crusaders then Slots isn't gonna be your scene. If like me though you revel in the exploits of some well intentioned and charming schemers with art as delicious as one of Jose's Taco's then you've come to the right place. This is my type of book, set in my type of social circles. Can't wait to see where Stan's story takes us next. Viva Las Vegas. Read Full Review

The Brazen Bull - Dave Robbins Nov 8, 2017

Despite the fact that the main character has a near complete lack of redeeming qualities, Stanley Dance is still fascinating to watch. I haven't decided if I'm rooting for him or rooting for him to crash and burn. Either way, I'm in for the duration. Read Full Review

Comic Book Corps - Matt Granberry Nov 8, 2017

This is the best break I've found from all the superheroes and fantasy titles out there ( nothing wrong with them just saying). It's just one heck of a story with wonderful art and it's getting better and better with each issue. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson Nov 7, 2017

Slots #2 is a good second issue in this series, it builds upon the first issue well and has me excited to see what is coming next in Stanley's grand plan. Slots #2 also confirms if after the first issue did not convince you that Stanley is still a terrible person (I am not going to spoil anything, but the man really he is awful). While I am still a little confused on some of the characters and a little bit about Stanley's overall plan, Slots #2 was still an enjoyable read. Now that the pieces are in place it is time for action that means Stanley has to lace up his gloves and step into the ring once again to attempt to make things right. Read Full Review

    ComiConverse - Darryll Robson Nov 7, 2017

The story moves at an interesting pace, building on the characters rather than the narrative. Panosian has a detailed story to tell and he is using all the tricks of his trade to tell it. Read Full Review

Ultimately then, while it's likely going to prove to be an invaluable chapter in the long-term, providing some much-needed context to the events of the series as a whole, theres no denying that this is still a fairly dry, exposition-heavy issue. That said, with all the backstory now hopefully out of the way, we can finally start digging into the real meat of the story, and the prospect of seeing Stanley Dance lacing up the gloves and returning to the ring should provide more than enough encouragement for readers to pick up the next issue.
