CONSUMED BY CARNAGE!
• Miles sacrificed himself protecting others, and was taken by Carnage's dark doppelgangers!
• Now Kletus is sending Miles after one of Peter Parker's friends, and if Miles can't stop himself, he better hope someone shows up who can beat a dark symbiote-powered Spider-Man!

A good second issue that plays around with the identity crisis of being taken over by a Symbiote. This book has heart and speedy action keeping you on your toes. I'm not certain this is a must read to follow the event, but it's definitely entertaining. Read Full Review
The issue is just as dark as the rest of the event, but it does give a glimmer of hope that Miles might find a way to break free and help the other doppelgangers do the same. Read Full Review
Miles Morales continues to be the weakest of the Absolute Carnage tie-ins. Its all an Absolute Nothing. Read Full Review
I can’t recommend this to anyone, really. The premise for a great story was there, but this issue doesn’t do anything with it, and I don’t believe that any of this is going to matter down the road. The art has a nice flavor to it, but they drop the ball when they have the opportunity to give us something better. If you’re really interested, read it on MU. I promise you won’t be upset you had to wait. Read Full Review
A solid tie in that provides a fun reading experience
This was neat.
The bit of Carnage driving Miles gets blindsided by the unexpectedly rebellious spirit of the flesh when it's sent on a hunt. Neat logic on the hunt plot (I love the guest stars) and some interesting character work on possessed Miles make this well worth reading. The art is trending the other way, though. The Carnages are far too interchangeable.
Maybe just a liiiiiittle too repetitive, but for the most part I liked it.

Prelude:
The first issue was.... quite boring with many problems. Hopefully those are rectified in this issue.
The Good:
The characterisation is pretty good and the conflict within Miles is somewhat interesting.
The Bad:
It's boring as hell.
Also the continuity with Absolute Carnage is absolutely non-existent. This story does not fit into the core story Cates is telling at all.
Conclusion:
While there are some positives, they do nothing to stop this issue from it's mediocrity and horrendous continuity.
