Apr 22, 2026Chip Zdarky’s Captain America run has been transcendental. This is exactly what Captain America should be. This is a Cap that knows that doing what’s right isn’t always the same thing as doing what’s popular. If you aren’t reading this run, you should run out and pick it up now. It’s that good! May 05, 2026As the Latverian crisis heats up, Captain America #9 continues to weave its storytelling in excellent fashion. Latveria has arguably become the most interesting and important locale in the Marvel Universe, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Chip Zdarsky continues to deliver high-quality writing befitting one of Marvel’s oldest and greatest heroes. Read Full Review

I liked this issue a lot. Even with the cover, the ending surprised me.

The art is better than last issue, however, I don’t like it when there’s a new artist almost every month. This is how you lose readers, even if the story is as strong as this one. Just settle on a fricking regular artist, Marvel. My favorite would be Delio Diaz.
