THE END OF THE LINE!
Captain Carter's powerful enemies are closing in, painting her as dangerous and out of touch with reality. But Peggy's mind has never been clearer - and now that she knows what she's up against, she's going to put an end to it...even if it costs her everything.
RATED T+
OverallThe End OF THE LINE! does a brilliant job of bringing this story arc to an end, but leaves things open enough for Agent Carter to return at some future date. As to whether it will be for S.T.R.I.K.E. or some other team of heroes remains to be seen. But I'd personally love to see Harley and Lizzie Braddock get another adventure as well as they made for fun characters. Read Full Review
Captain Carter #5 is an okay ending to the mini-series. There are some good moments between the characters and Betsy gets some time to shine, but the main villains are lackluster, and Peggy Carter doesnt get much to do in this final issue. Hopefully in the future Marvel will continue Peggys story and give us a more expansive view of her Earth. Read Full Review
From its choreography to its art, this entry proves Peggy still has what it takes to lead a solo series, so hopefully, this isn't the last we have seen of the captain. Read Full Review
Captain Carter #5 ends the series with the best issue in the series. The best part is the utter lack of pace-killing lecturing from Peggy's neighbor, Harley. There are plenty of Mission Impossible-style shenanigans, prison escapes, and vampire fights to end the troubled series on a relatively high note. Read Full Review
What a pleasure this series has been! I'd really like to see more of Peggy and her team
this was a surprising good series. I would like to see more of this Captain Carter. I think she's more engaging than MCU/What-If Captain Carter.
The plot wraps up with admirable neatness, if not all that much novelty. Peggy's voice is still good, and the script has a nice, thrilling pace. The art takes a lot of daring risks, and I really admire the panels where they pay off.
Although this series never got close to "must-read" territory for me, I think it wraps up pretty strong.
This was a waste of time, honestly.
Fantastic ending to a fantastic series!
