SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES!
The CARNAGE symbiote is stronger, more violent and more bloodthirsty than its brain-consuming progenitor, VENOM. In this issue, it PROVES IT!
RATED T+
Carnage #4 expands the series' horizons as the sinister symbiote travels through time and space in search of new victims to hunt. With all the twists and turns this series is taking, it's working its way onto the list of titles I routinely pick up at the comic book store. Read Full Review
Carnage #4 takes its narrative beyond the boundaries of Earth, introducing new characters, more fantastical elements, and some ominous new threats could be potentially dangerous for the entire Marvel multiverse. Read Full Review
If you wanted something a little different, Carnage #4 gives it to you with a major location change. I never knew I wanted Carnage melded with sword and sorcery, but when you see what he does with a spear you'll be wondering why anyone hasn't done this sooner. This creative team is building towards something that feels lasting that may change Carnage forever. Read Full Review
Carnage #4 shows the next piece in Carnage's plan to greater heights of murder and chaos. However, this issue is a little more slower than previous issues. Not much happens for Carnage or both Detective Shayde and Neeley, but at least Neeley has some interesting setup for the next issue. Other than that, it's a fine quick read. Read Full Review
Carnage is getting way crazier than I ever would have expected. Read Full Review
It's a nice, brisk chunk of plot development with some truly off-the-wall guest stars. Those add a good sense of mystery and create anticipation for the next issue, but the adventures of the main characters are satisfying on their own.
Getting back to the main artist agrees with me. These lines are so natural; I can feel the pens and brushes. On the script side, the prose is tight and to-the-point. Structurally, though, I think maybe we get a little more Dark Elf backstory than we really need?
It's a good comic overall, though.
This was quite messy, but it did work to the book's advantage
Another good issue by Ram V. This 4th read had a slower pace compared with the previous three. We do not see much killing here, but two new world are introduced and as well new characters. I enjoyed it reading, specially because of the Elven mythology present in this issue.
Ehh. This wasn't as good as the others in my opinion. They focused too much on the Elves for me too really care about what Carnage was doing.
