I thought this was a lot of fun. The only thing I am concerned about is how quickly Doom took Symkaria and killed off other characters. It makes me think something will reverse this at the end.
Certainly one way to wrap up plot points
One of the better issues in the series. I think its starting to pick up the pace.
Not so cool after Doom conquers you, are you Symkaria? Take that! Long live DOOOOOOM!!
You can tell Cantwell had to crunch everything he had planned for this issue due to the cancellation. So much is skimmed over this issue: Everything with the ultimate nullifier, the Latverian-Symkarian War, the reveal of the real planner of the attack on Antlion, Dora’s true origin, Zora killing her mother, Zora seeking out Galactus, and everything between Blue Marvel, alt reality Otto, and the Brood. It’s insane how much is crunched in, it’s bad. But that’s not the worst part. At the end of the issue, Doom finally promises to forgo evil and chooses the good. Doom chooses the good? You mean like that time he already did that? Also, Doom apparently thinking of himself as having been "simply" evil is kinda boring for a character who's morality is (or, at least, should be) much more complicated and interesting that "I was bad, so now I'll be good. Like that time I already did that."
I didn’t really like how this was presented. It’s possibly just that I have grown too disconnected from the story but...
