Every issue of Waid's run has been a must read that can't be skipped and this issue is no exception. Pick this up and add this series to your pull list. You'll definitely have a fun time with Waid, his creative team, and the Sorcerer Supreme! Read Full Review
This story is becoming a fast favorite for me, not least because we get to see the return of the wonderful Clea, but because Mark Waid has taken what could have been a completely banal plot point and made it intriguing. Read Full Review
Doctor Strange is always fun when he's off in another realm and dealing with creatures that are beyond the comprehension of our space and time. That's exactly what's happening here and it works extremely well. Read Full Review
I love the mystic universe surrounding Doctor Strange as much as I love the characters in it. I'm hoping the following issues resolve this arc in a compelling fashion since it started off great. Besides that this, run is still worth the read for the art in it and the entertaining reintroduction of classic characters. Read Full Review
The development at the end of the story features a fascinating transformation for Galactus as the dark magics encroach around the planet devourer. Its too bad so much of the rest of the issue feels like a mad rush to arrive at. This issue really could have been much, much more had Waid simply wanted Galactus to be more of a long-term co-star in the book. As it is, hes clearly got designs for a larger story thatll wrap-up in a couple of months. Too bad. This could have been much more interesting if it was given the chance to breathe. Read Full Review
Here he is again, face to face with Dormammu. Sigh. The plot railroads him into the confrontation with logic and a pretty enjoyable journey, but what a familiar destination! There will doubtless be some novel trickery in the victory to come, and the presence of Galactus will hopefully be decisive. But it is gonna be Strange v. Dormammu for the Nth time, and all the bells and whistles in the world won't erase the fact that even the protagonist is tired of winning that fight. Read Full Review
Despite its interesting plot twist and the situations it places key characters, "Doctor Strange" #14 is too safe for its own good on the visual department. Read Full Review
Holy crap, I was entertaining dropping this series, but this issue has gone to a crazy place with Galactus and I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm glad that I stayed on.
Respect the craft: The creators added an extra Watcher-analog (Ykolon) to their Galactus story just because they could.
It's good but I do miss the way the story was told through the first few arcs.
This was alright. I wish the dialogue was better, but I didn't have a bad time.
A little boring, and I think the style was getting to me.
