Domino as a character keeps getting better with every issue and the story is moving along at a pace that allows for both the fun of certain moments and the serious action of others to work together well. The art is brilliantly complimentary to the story and they both work to create something unique. Read Full Review
By adding emotional depth beneath her bravado and putting her goals and wants center-stage, the entire Domino series"and issue #4 in particular"has given readers even more reason to love the luck-powered hero, and the X-books and the wider Marvel Universe are better for it. Read Full Review
The plot thickens through the events of Domino #4. Excellent story progress, and character focus all around. This creative team really knows what they are doing with these characters to give us pure entertainment and engagement at the same time with a mutant who doesn't always have that time to slow down and figure herself out. Domino's story provides the comic's (often inappropriate, but still damn funny) humor while Diamondback and Outlaw‘s situation looks far more dire. Worth a look. Read Full Review
Despite a good chunk of the issue feeling like it's serves no purpose but being unnecessary filler, it's still a fun book. Read Full Review
DOMINO #4 is yet another good time in Simone's run on the character. Unfortunately, this issue feels more like filler than movement. Read Full Review
Despite falling back on some overused X-Men tropes, Simone and company continue to prove that their endearing characters are worth following no matter the scenery. Read Full Review
A fun, solid issue of Domino that moves the story along, but doesn't really shine in any particular way. Read Full Review
While the script can be a bit clunky, the art remains perfectly attuned to all things Domino. A fine, but not great, comic. Read Full Review
That good. Shocked by the lower average rating.
Domino does goofy flirting with Shang-Chi, her supporting cast takes steps to support her, and the full Topaz Deal is revealed to be exactly what we thought it was. The comedic characterization is charming as all get-out, but the simplicity of the bad guys is ever so slightly disappointing. The art remains distinctively gorgeous, and the fake "Deadly Hands of Domino" cover is a treat.
I still don't know who this guy is.
