I really enjoyed how fast paced this comic was. It made you really experience the excitement and confusion that Brielle was experiencing while Dracula's even tone made you feel the tension in the air. The story itself is extremely compelling with Dracula tracking down his oldest enemy's daughter to team up to save the world from the Blood Hunt. Danny Lore does an incredible job at keeping you on the edge of your seat throughout the comic book! Read Full Review
Placing old characters in new roles can be a tricky proposition. But in Dracula: Blood Hunt #1, Dracula's switch from antagonist to protagonist goes as smoothly as can be. He's still the cold, calculating, head vampire in charge make no mistake. Moves are being made without his authorization and there will be hell to pay. Saving the world may just be a byproduct of it all. Read Full Review

This was my first time reading a story about Bloodline and it was pretty solid. As of now, I'm missing one of the five issues of Bloodline: Daughter of Blade, so I plan on reading it at some point. Either way, this was good. The namesake of this book, Dracula, was probably the best part of this. I think Lore wrote him nicely here. The reluctant team-up angle isn't something new, but I think it has potential with this book. Hopefully it ends up realizing said potential. If anything, the art will be good.
