In the deepest, darkest, unholiest night ever known to man or beast, DRACULA, Lord of Vampires, has come to BLOODLINE, daughter of Blade, demanding a sacrifice: a devil's bargain of the soul. A soul in peril? Seek a priest. A deal to escape? A lawyer. And a devil must be met face-to-face. Luckily for Bloodline, there's one man who fulfills all three criteria: none other than DAREDEVIL. But does he - or anyone - stand a chance against a city full of bloodthirsty vampires...and the unending night in which they feed?!

Even though the characters featured in this issue don't immediately seem like an obvious assemblage, seeing Daredevil lend assistance both physically and emotionally to Bloodline before Dracula recruits her for her most challenging mission yet somehow works on every imaginable level, marking for one of the best installments in the entire "Blood Hunt" event. I've read quite a bit of the Blood Hunt event, and I have to say this might be my favorite run. All in all, there's so much depth within this story with very high stakes. The creative team is doing an outstanding job on all fronts in Dracula: Blood Hunt #2. Read Full Review

Dracula: Blood Hunt #2 elevates itself among other tie-ins with its character work and sharp artwork. The finale hints at a long brewing confrontation between father and daughter; hopefully it ends on just as much of a high note as this issue. Read Full Review

Overall, this issue is a suspenseful and thought-provoking chapter that deepens the world and raises the stakes for the heroes. Pick it up if you enjoyed the first issue of Dracula: Blood Hunt and are interested in a dark and complex superhero story. If you prefer a more traditional good versus evil narrative, you might want to pass on this series. Read Full Review

To get the complete picture of what's going on here, you probably should be reading other titles from the Blood Hunt event, but Dracula: Blood Hunt #2 sure as heck tries its best to give you at least enough info to enjoy what's going on in these pages, and does so in an artistic way. Enjoyable issue. Good writing and very good art. The whole pep talk by Daredevil was a little cheesy, but not in a distracting way. This issue should have been called Bloodline: Blood Hunt though, heh. The tie-ins for this event have been quite good overall and this is no exception.

I think I may be giving this the rating I am due to the fact that I just really enjoyed the stuff with Daredevil. I also think Lore is handling Brielle's situation pretty well, as a whole. I would much rather have this than have her briefly struggle with having to kill Blade before just deciding to do it. I'm a little surprised that this was one of the better tie-in series, in my opinion, but I'm also not complaining about it.
