Fantastic Four #33 delivers on all your expectations for the night before Doctor Doom's wedding. Each member of the Fantastic Four gets a moment to say or do something, and the setup, along with the cliffhanger, is highly entertaining. Most of all, the tension in this issue is delicious and should have Doom fans excited for a little revenge. Read Full Review
Final Thoughts:Fantastic Four #33 is everything you'd expect from a Dr. Doom wedding. Royal pageantry, fancy dinners, and trouble just waiting to happen. While the comic puts focus on Doom and his commitment to the marriage, the authenticity of the wedding is always in question due to the events of the previous issue. If nothing else, Dr. Doom looks great in every page he's inthanks to the art and colors. By the end, readers might end up rooting for Dr. Doom on this one. Read Full Review
Fantastic Four #33 brings Dr. Doom right to the altar, which is where the inevitable wedding shenanigans begin. It looks terrific, it's nicely paced, and the dialogue is warm and natural. While the plot makes plenty of sense, it comes together with a feeling of more novel roads not taken, more inventive characterization not employed. This is a very well-crafted comic, but sadly not a daring one. Read Full Review
The wedding of Doom is a pretty interesting concept, especially the way Slott puts it together. Read Full Review
Ludicrous. But quite entertaining.
I was really feeling the suspense here. It felt like the Fantastic Four were walking right into a trap. I can't help but feel like Doom is a real Charismaniac (Magnificent Bastard) with how he arranges everything.
I liked this issue a little more than I thought I would. Its just fun and of course the wedding couldnt go off without a hitch.
This is just so damn sitcom-y. I'm not saying there's no such thing as a good sitcom. But this isn't edgy and outrageous like Always Sunny, or thoughtful and sweet like the Good Place. This is pure lowest-common-denominator Chuck Lorre pablum. Yet no matter how low it sets the bar, it does (as do some Chuck Lorre shows) hop over that bar with talent.
This was pretty boring, but that one page after Victorious spills the tea to Doom adds half a point. It's so good. I would frame that. The rest of the issue is a lot of set up and climbing action. I don't care about Sky, Mr. Slott. Honestly, just make this a Namor and Doom comic, with guest stars Reed and Ben. That's what I want here, and yet there's so much baggage that drags everything else down. SMEK
Hahahahahha here here hoho u r funny Dan
I just agree with Namor here.
Mehhhh issue.
One time read.
completely disastrous, boring
what a disaster, hoping Victorious was doing that on purpose, otherwise her timing makes her seem a little lacking in the intelligence department.
