Carmen Carnero's artwork is some of my favorite and this issue is no exception. The fight in Miles' house was brilliant choreographed. The action was vibrant, beautiful and full of energy. Read Full Review
I thoroughly enjoyed this issue of Miles Morales! While the Outlawed parts felt forced, I am still looking forward to the next issue. This book has excellent art, dialogue, and plenty of cool action scenes to keep the reader's attention. I highly recommend picking this up and adding it to your pull list. Read Full Review
Writer Saladin Ahmed continues to keep the character and his run in a classic motif, pulling the story along in a way that keeps the mystery going without its lack of reveals feeling like a cheat. Read Full Review
On its own, Miles Morales: Spider-Man #18 stands shy of the border of "great." But it evolves the current story arc in an entirely positive way and makes future greatness possible -- perhaps likely. A fast pace, solid art, and smart words ensure that readers who have committed to the arc or the title won't be disappointed with this latest installment. Read Full Review
Miles goes three rounds with his doppleganger while lower-intensity conflict lands on his family and his school. The plotlines are a bit wide-spread right now, but all of them are compelling. I'm especially impressed by how efficiently the creators handle Rio and Jefferson -- their story becomes exciting in just a few pages. I think this arc is headed to great places.
This book has been getting better and better. Saladin Ahmed manages to raise the stakes further in this issue, and there's glorious Spider-Man action in this.
This issue was amazing. Broiling tensions and the Outlawed effects were felt here. Return of an old enemy. I'm excited for the next issue.
This was really solid. This run of miles has been as good as some of the early Bendis stuff. Its logical, well written, throws things at you that you have seen before with new twists. Its got it all. That last page pissed me off though because that arc from earlier in the run creeped the hell out of me and im not too happy to see miles about to go through more sh*#! with that
This was an enjoyable issue.
A good issue!
