Carnero and Ferreira do some amazing work with the art. The action scenes are bright and full of energy while the CRADLE scenes are gritty and filled with shadow. A great looking issue. Read Full Review

This month's issue also makes things clear in the grand scheme, but resorts to typical "villain explains his motives via monologue," hard to argue that it's still a compelling read though. Read Full Review

Another strong issue from Ahmed. No need to worry this being Miles' clone saga, it is another story entirely and very well written.

I saw a clone and had a nightmare flashback to the dark era of spider-man called the 90s. But luckily it isn't a big deal, they don't use him for anything, which is good. The series should be about Miles and his family, which is perfectly showcased here. Miles's dad is a badass, Uncle Aaron is awesome, and the next issue tease looks fun.

All is revealed when Miles and Ultimatum finally come face to face. It's terribly refreshing for a modern comic to build up a bunch of mysteries and then explain them comprehensively in one big climax. But this issue is in no danger of coming off too talky; there's plenty of action in the 3rd act. The subplot about Miles's school friends admittedly gets a little cheesy -- but the surprise guest star there is Marvel's master of taking cheese seriously. Sharp writing, strong art, a fast pace, and a bucketload of much-anticipated answers make this a highly satisfying read.

This series is great. It has a good cast and really plays to what makes miles different than peter. I did think some of the parts with captain were a little off but overall a good entry to the series.

A solid issue, great art great action, and the story keeps the stakes up. Also loved the AOC stand-in and the Humberto Ramos reference.

I am wary of this alternate universe stuff but I will put up with it... for now.
