I need to point out how much I appreciate the diversity in this series. Not just seeing Muslims and people of color represented, but all body types as well. It's a refreshing change in an industry with busty and impossibly thin women heroes. The seventh issue of MS. MARVEL is a really fun Silver Age throwback issue. I would definitely recommend it to fans of the series or the Miles Morles version of Spider-Man. However, readers who see the cover and expect a full-on CIVIL WAR II issue may be a tad disappointed. Read Full Review

"Ms. Marvel" #7 is another example of why this series is so much fun; it takes advantage of a crossover event to tell a smaller-scale story that echoes the bigger event's themes, while making them relatable and germane to this title. It is a fun setting full of sight gags in the backgrounds of the panels that will have you doing double takes. They definitely let Alphona do whatever he wanted with this art and it is glorious in its chaotic creativity. Read Full Review

The Magnificent Ms. Marvel #7 is an issue that continues the title's run of being pound for pound the best young readers comic book out there. I know that this is a series but this issue seemed to end before the story hit a good breaking point. It was still fun, so I didn't think it needed a low score.

I don't know it's like trying to be heavy and light at the same time and it's a deeper metaphor for something but It just I don't know, the gravitas wasn't impactful.

Not a bad issue by any means really, the meta-commentary annoys me though, yes Marvel, why do Good Guys have to fight?

Wilson’s message of this issue is so extremely forced. The writer shouldn’t have to shove her message in her face, the reader should be able to figure it out while reading. Just not good writing at all. Still enough momentum from previous issues to keep this decent.
