If you miss the Annihilation era but want something with a modern, slightly more cynical edge, this book is for you. It's fun, fast-paced, and proves that even when you have the power of a star, you still have to worry about the rent. Read Full Review

Nova: Centurion #2 is very much a get the band together type comic book. The first issue got us caught up to where Richard Rider is. Now Jed MacKay, Alvaro Lopez, and Matteo Della Fonte start getting us invested in the supporting cast in this series. Read Full Review
I appreciate Mackeys attention to continuity, which I like but it comes with a BUT. It felt like Mackay was trying a bit too hard to remind readers how awesome Annihilation is. It felt a little forced, not terrible, but the reason I couldn't give this a 10. Just a little nitpick. And Cammy looks a bit weird.
If Mackay is going to continue referencing Nova continuity on basically every page (like i said, its a bit over done) I hope he at least is familiar with more than just annihilation. Here's hoping he know the rest of the DnA run and follows up on that Garthaan Saal cliff hanger of more than 25 years!
Obviously, I thought this comics was awesome, nitpicking aside. Nova is back and already my favorite comic since T more
Solidly entertaining and getting its feet. But when did Cammi grow up so much?
Alvaro Lopez saved #1 from being a complete bore. Unfortunately, his art for #2 isn't on the same level. Or maybe it's just Nova losing that awesome beard - a grave mistake, if you ask me. Anyway, it's becoming very apparent that this is a Jed McKay book, who I think is Marvel's second worst writer after Ryan North. If the art can't keep up the level of quality it set with #1, I'm out.
