Old Man Logan #37 is a nice plot that gives an excuse for a brutal fight between Logan and Bullseye. The fight is well composed and fun, and Talajic and Lopez do a decent job of bringing it to life. This comic earns a recommendation. Feel free to check it out. Read Full Review
This ones got an intensity all its own, It's pure cliff hanger material and action packed from page one! Our antagonist is racing to her hacker friend to see if the hacker can figure out the code. The hacker is informed that the last one who tried to hack into it was killed as the usb in question had some kind of radar that detects mutants, or just the powers that be in particular exhibits power over them. After a long fight, the antagonist shows up just as we're about to find out…to be continued. ***1/2 (8.8 rating.) Read Full Review
This story had a lot of potential. It was interesting to think of what kind of ways Mayor Fisk would try to get the flash drive back, but its all become rather cliche. There were so many places this story could have gone. There still could have been a fight with Bullseye, but it could have been structured differently to make the whole thing better. The point of Wilson Fisk being mayor is for him to be a new kind of threat than he was before, but this story shows him just doing what hes always done. The fight makes the whole thing better, but it doesnt change the fact the story veers into same old, same old territory. Read Full Review
If you want to spend 15 minutes reading a more-boring version of Captain America: The Winter Soldier without any of the action, characters, or storylines, maybe Old Man Logan #37 is the right comic for you. Read Full Review
OML teams up with Sarah Dewey but has to fight Bullseye before anything can be revealed about the contents of Kingpin's mysterious MacGuffin drive. It's a very simple story, but perfect pacing and excellent chemistry make it something notable. It helps a lot that Logan's interactions with both Sarah and Bullseye have strong, well-executed comedic overtones. The action scenes present Bullseye's craziness with inventive novelty, and the art keeps up with the off-the-wall combat moves.
Art is terrible. Story is simplistic.
