Comic Watch - Ivan Alino Apr 12, 2018

It's hard to find faults on books that were thoughtfully made, in which Rowell's and Anka's Runaways is part of. The creative team still managed to step up the game and improved their craft making it more fun, exciting and very entertaining! Not your typical superhero book, this series is a definite must-read. I suggest everyone to give this a try if you enjoy feel-good-comic series! Read Full Review

    Comicsverse - AJ Zender Apr 6, 2018

RUNAWAYS #8 is a near-perfect success. While some of the plot-lines fall a bit to the wayside, the overarching story excites and the characterization goes really far. The dichotomy between Power Pack and the Runaways is explored really well, and Kris Anka's work on the ending fight scene is explosive. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Apr 4, 2018

Runaways #8 took big steps forward when we are reminded that a quiet life is not the kind of life you live when you put these kids together. It did not take long at all for them to run into the next disaster, or better yet it didn't take long for this disaster to come knocking at their door. While we know this villain to be the big bad, the question at the same time is if this is who we think we are actually dealing with. That is something to keep in mind till the next issue. • 8.0 - Jenna Anderson Apr 4, 2018

This issue continues what fans have been loving about the current Runaways run, but gets slightly bogged down by the fact that it's clearly a middle issue of an arc. Read Full Review
