BEN SOLO, KNIGHT OF REN?
• Soon, BEN SOLO'S path will end in a place of fire and blood, and a shadow will rise to take his place. He is with the KNIGHTS OF REN now, and they will welcome him, if he can pay their price.
• But before that destiny is fulfilled, a battle must be fought at an ancient JEDI Outpost on the planet ELPHRODA - between Ben and those who know what he could have been... and fear what he might become.
• Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. Everyone here is afraid - Ben Solo most of all!

If you are a fan of the movies, or someone who perhaps thinks they went off the rails" this might be a good comic for you. It develops the character of Kylo Ren in an understandable way. The story doesn't feel rushed or like it's trying to pack too much into the space it has. Read Full Review
Soule continues to be the best writer in Star Wars comics, and Will Sliney's art continues to impress, even if he still can't get Adam Driver's face right. I'm looking forward to the final issue, and I'm really sad it's already ending! Read Full Review
Soule delivers it solidly here with a good forward progression even though it feels like this could be a twelve-issue maxiseries to explore more of it and really dig into his time with Ren. Sliney's an artist I continue to really like though I don't think he lands on the right projects for his style Read Full Review
Issue 3 matches the strong story that Soule and Sinly have set out to create. The words and art blend perfectly and the story does not feel out of place or rushed. The only criticism I have, is that I wish this comic came out before Rise of Skywalker. It helps build on why Ben became Kylo and gives the audience that connection that was missing from the movies. I was worried that we'd never flesh-out these three random Jedi buddies of Kylo, but the creative team did a great job of doing just that this issue. Read Full Review
it's a horrifically dark plot with killer work by Roland Boschi"if one artist gets Hell and the Underworld, it's Boschi and his dark and grimy artwork, just like it needs to be. Read Full Review
Some of Luke's former students try to bring Ben to justice, only to fail spectacularly. We all know Ben survives this mini-series; however, the students have done nothing to suggest they even have a slight chance to stop Ben. It's not about the destination but the journey in storytelling. This dull installment has put some pressure on Soule to deliver a memorable final chapter that connects all the dots. Read Full Review
Continues to be a very addictive read.
Prelude:
The Rise of Kylo Ren has been great so far. Let's see what's in store this time from Soule.
The Good:
I like the look at Ben's former friends.
The fight was cool showcasing Ben.
Liked the art from Silney.
Ren was cool.
The Bad:
Nothing.
Conclusion:
Another great issue that focuses on Ben's past. Happy to get the expansion on his fellow students.
This issue was bland. It was just OK, I thought had more potential. The weakest one of the series
