VADER: DARK VISIONS gives a tertiary character the main stage as she fantasizes about the Dark Lord of the Sith. Her life seems to capsulate around Vader. She ends up going too far which throws her into madness. This is a funny and engaging comic to read. Read Full Review
With a couple of books in hand that were interesting but didn't feel like they quite came together well, the third installment of Dark Visions delivers from start to finish. Read Full Review
This is another really good issue of what has been an excellent series so far. Hopeless does a great job in making each issue rest well thematically with the other issues in the series, while making each book memorable and unique in its own right. Although two artists are alternating within this issue, both styles are beautiful and perfect insofar as complimenting the plot. Read Full Review
Taken on its own, it's an entertaining depiction of a surprising corner of the galaxy, giving readers another reason to be terrified of Vader, though the unconventional approach to romance in the galaxy far, far away will likely be a turnoff for some. Read Full Review
The issue is predictable in some ways and not in others delivering another issue to get you to think about Lord Vader and how those in the galaxy view him. It's a series that with each issue shows that he's more than has been presented and no matter how you view him, he's an interesting part of the Star Wars myhology. Read Full Review
A good story thanks to its unique perspective. It's not hard to believe something like this could have taken place when Darth Vader reigned supreme and it's incredibly well-articulated thanks to the two artists. Read Full Review
I LOVED this issue! A great parallel to reality regarding people who idolize killers and how they are unaware until the bitter end what the truth actually is. A crazy comic but in a great way!
Ah, to be young and in love, only to realize that you're in love with an idealized delusion. A cautionary tale regarding that school yard crush... They were probably a psychotic mass murderer, you actually dodged a bullet!
Another awesome and twisted issue. The finale was perfect.
It appears that some people have found this issue to be a bit controversial, for me I thought it was a very interesting character study that is relevant in the real word. There are many people who are attracted to the most brutal and vicious people alive. I'm sure this woman who thinks she's in love with Darth Vader is not the only person in the galaxy who feels that way.
That was pretty messed up, but I liked it.
