A great fifth issue shows this series is hitting its stride. Superior Spider-Man continues to be the best unconventional superhero book on the stands. Read Full Review
A good issue in a great series, I can't wait for this team up I never dreamed of. Read Full Review
Overall, Superior Spider-Man is a title where we continue to see Otto attempt to make strides in the right direction as a hero and citizen of San Francisco. It doesn't always have the highest stakes compared to other books in the Spider office, but does provide quick, fun, entertaining stories to the readers, while providing character moments for the cast in the issues each month. A highly recommended series thus far with some excellent visuals. Read Full Review
A solid issue that continues to deliver the entertaining moments you want to see when you read any issue involving Otto as the Superior Spider-Man, with great art. Read Full Review
Far from a must-read, there's still some odd fun here in the absurdity of Otto's date and the equally absurd new threat he'll need Strange's help to stop. For fans. Read Full Review
Five issues in, I'm still having trouble finding a reason to be invested in Superior Spider-Man. Read Full Review
Another perfect issue. This one has comedy and action, a Dr.Strange cameo, what more can you ask for? It is also a great issue because it blends what I like about superior now which is that he's now finally trying to be a hero without having a much as super ego as before with what I liked about Superior in his original run, which is his interactions with others. And this issue has it all, even a magic vs science fight. So, overall amazing issue.
Great issue!!
Master Pandemonium attacks Otto, but not before he ruins date night all by himself. Then it's on to demon-fighting and Doctor-Strange-calling. The set-up is full of promise, but this issue spends a lot of time on ground rules and exposition. It doesn't make any missteps, but it puts off greatness until another day.
Haha Otto is so fun.
I actually really love this series so far. It just doesnt take itself seriously but at the same time isnt too much of a comedy act. I think Otto makes a great Spiderman and its just a fun read.
A good issue. I'm not sure I like how Doctor Strange is written here, but the stuff with Otto is great as always.
