Al Ewing does a fantastic job at keeping you guessing and increasing the excitement through the comic. I'd say Venom War #2 was even better than the first installment. Read Full Review
Venom War #2 leans into the pro wrestling vibe with tons of swagger and attitude, with slick art to go with it. The story is plotted well, though I can't say how much I care about the stakes in play. I'm here for the top rope spectacle and fun-for-all-ages symbiote action. Read Full Review

Another solid issue for the event. Coello's art continues to be one of the highlights, though I do enjoy what Ewing is doing story-wise. Peter keeping Venom, for the time being, makes genuine sense. However, Dylan actually wanting Venom back for himself, rather than solely to protect his father, is something I'm looking forward to learning more about.
It's a little over the top, but I kind of like it. It's not great, but I'm having a good time with it.
