If you haven't been reading Journey Into Mystery month-to-month, it might make more sense to wait for the trade at this point, but no matter how you wind up reading it, you're sure to have a good time. Read Full Review
The action at the end provides a nice change of pace, but the reason to keep reading is how well the B- and C-list members on this journey into mystery are elevated by dialogue and pacing. Read Full Review

What an issue. War of the Realms: Journey Into Mystery 3 is a great mix of action and character development. The team chemistry between Simon and Becca is great fun, especially for lovers of Wild West movies. I also like the mentor/student relationship between Balder and Kate and Thori is constantly hilarious. The first half of the issue had little action but lots of character moments and humor while the second half packed in the fights. This whole issue is beautifully drawn and I can’t wait for next issue where we hopefully figure out why Laussa is a demon
The D&D influences come through pretty strong here.
Overall, I'd say this was pretty good. I liked seeing the old western heroes that Marvel doesn't ever use anymore.
How do you say, “I don’t care about this pointless digression” in western?
