It feels like there's a worthwhile comic lurking somewhere beneath the surface of Weapon X, but it has yet to actually rear its head. Read Full Review
I dont like tearing into this thing. I love the writer. I love the cast. Even the premise is kind of cool. However, none of these things coalesce into a good read. X-Men: Gold, X-Men: Blue, and All-New Wolverine all provide far better X-centric reads (thats a pun, by the way. Youre welcome). Iceman is actually pretty damn good; go read that instead. And hopefully Astonishing X-Men will turn out good. Give Weapon X #4 a wide berth. Read Full Review
Great issue, I like the hulk team up a lot. Nice art, great storyline. One of my favorite series right now!
Sometimes the world needs a gosh darn nonsensical action comic and this is it. Plus having Lady Deathstrike and Warpath running around in the buff is kinda sexy as hell. The art of Land is ok and the Pak story line is interesting it's leading to a new cool bad guy.
Hulk and his mutant buddies rescue Warpath and Deathstrike, completing the action figure set and setting us up for the next round. It's a noisy, explodey action-fest. Greg Pak turns in a cheesy, cliche-riddled script that perfectly matches Greg Land's cut-and-paste art. In both its loving attention to violence and its aggressive contempt for actual creative effort, this is the perfect comics equivalent of a Michael Bay movie. It's briefly, shallowly entertaining, but it really doesn't satisfy under close examination.
