My favourite with Batman RIP, Batman story ever. Possibly the best end of Bruce Wayne as Batman and being in continuity doesnt't hurt it.
Now this is how you write an epic battle between joker and Batman. Next to dceased, this story is my second favorite epidemic type story that DC has put out; very scary and believable. Capullo was born to draw the darker side of Batman and he is at his prime in this volume. The “Metal” aspect to the story can be a little convoluted but it’s still a great thrill ride.
This arc is awesome, I have next to no complaints about it. Go read it.
Good, solid story that I would recommend to anyone who loves comics, not just Batman lovers. Snyder is a very solid writer with a lot of insight into legendary characters.
Great artwork and characterization make for an entertaining ride.
Endgame is not quite the endgame i was waiting for.. Still has a lots to cheer including Batman V Justice League and much more. The book is colorful compared to death of family which reduces the intensity. Moreover Snyder tries to push a new side kick origin in the volume as Batman wastes his time investigating Joker's new chemical.Felt it should have been left out and Batman should have went after Mr J itself.Coming to later part the book delivers the dark end we deserve with a lot of surprises and a bloody end to the Batman-Joker encounter. This fight will be marked in the history as the darkest fight between the two.In the end,Endgame was a 50-50 game which largely succeeds in later part but falls short in the beginning due to numerous factors.
