Miles Morales: Spider-Man (2023) #26 |
Dec 4, 2024 |
I'm not a fan of Federico Vicentini's art style for this series. I believe Spider-Man comics generally benefit from a cleaner, more classic art style. I find this style to be chaotic and confusing. However, Cody Ziglar's writing is exceptional. He has done more to develop Miles Morales' character and his supporting cast than any other writer. This issue is a prime example, showcasing the excellent characterization of the relationship between the Vulture and his granddaughter, Tiana. It would be ideal to have a different artist to fully complement Ziglar's strong writing. |

He excels at crafting intricate character relationships and dramatic arcs that evoke the best qualities of soap opera writing. While the flashy super heroics draw readers in, it's the compelling cast of characters and their evolving dynamics that truly captivate. |
