Action Comics (2016) #1061 Jan 10, 2024

It was amazing. Don’t expect any action though. The character work and dialogue impressed me. Art was fantastic.

Ben Reilly doesn’t really grab my interest. However the Peter and MJ part was fantastic.

This is a fun comic. The type of comic I find we need more of.

I was considering dropping this title just to save money but this issue has in for longer. Great issue.

Jim Gordon is the real star in the series.

The first two stories I thought were enjoyable to read. This bodes well for the future of Action comics and Superman

Absolutely worth reading. Fun and crazy.

Only thing disappointing is that it ends at 12 issues. This should be an ongoing.

Reminded how Lois abandons her family to write a book from a hotel room and now know to smoke and drink. Completely ignores the fact they are parents. The Supergirl part did not read well. I actually like the art overall.

I thought this was an improvement. Decent issue except for Jimmy Olsen’s dialogue and that story has progressed so slowly.

17 issues (6 man of steel issues) and we still don’t have much of a story. Decompression at its best. Art was great though.

Beautiful story with amazing artwork.

This could have been decent if it wasn’t for Lois. Lois’s character is very problematic in this series.

Superman (2018) #7 Jan 18, 2019

This would have been an improvement from last issue if not reminded of the developing relationship between Clark and Lois. Something I find makes no sense and yet Clark is so happy with it. I’m glad the “big reveal” did not involve something Shocking and yet unnecessary to be honest. Overall ok.

I was enjoying Action over Superman but after this issue... wow.... all the points are for the art. Lois was completely off for me.

Enjoyed this issue. The art is phenomenal.

Decent story. The art is phenomenal.

The art and Superman’s inner dialogue makes this a decent issue. There is more of an attempt to make Rogol Zaar more interesting. The issue ends suddenly and I miss how quickly Superman assesses his situation at the end without starting to take any action.
