The story this week was amazing. Almost as if he is attempting to one up the story, Ardian Syafs art is beautiful from cover to cover. Each character is exquisitely rendered. No detail, regardless of how insignificant it may seem, is overlooked and the result is evident on every page. Needless to say, this entry into the Batman Superman storyline is truly exceptional and should not be missed by any fan of the DC universe. Okay, I am now officially interested in the "Superman's Joker" story.  Greg Pak shows that he not only knows Batman and Superman, but has a firm grip on the Joker as well.  While we still don't find out who this Joker is, we see more of his methods and they are spot on.  Ardian Syaf does a really good job on art and the issue ends with a crazy cliffhanger that has me interested going forward. I suppose the decision to target Batman is an interesting one. I wonder why, in the New 52, these two would be friends. Pak has done a lot to show why they would be. And elevating Batman to that status shows the strength of this friendship. Still ... I would think Diana (in this current DCU) would be the one Superman would miss most. And in a perfect world it should be Lois. I don't know the motivation of these Kandorians yet. For me, that is going to be the linchpin for the story. If I don't understand why these Kryptonians would become killers, the foundation of the arc might crumble. But why worry about something that might be fine. Read Full Review

Batman Superman #18 was a good issue with a really good plot twist. It was a twist readers would never expect which I thought was really clever. The relationship between Batman and Superman get's much more depth in Batman Superman #18, great to see how they both care about each other. If you've been enjoying this story arc so far, Batman Superman #18 get's even better and having readers wonder what will come in the next issue. Read Full Review

Batman/Superman #18 is an imperfect continuation upon an interesting concept. Pak is placing both of his leading characters under tremendous pressure, and detailing their emotional responses excellently. Lazy plotting and characterization like Batman's in this issue detract from the impact of that situation. Syaf's artwork tells the story well, but has begun to appear rushed under a monthly schedule with several inkers. This is an issue that would have been well served by one or two more weeks to iron out the wrinkles. Read Full Review

Loved the ending

Solid read. I like the art on this one compared to more previous ones. And the story is much better. I was bored of the last story arc. I like where this is going.
