Tom Taylor wraps up his mini arc in fine fashion.  The way Taylor unfolds the story is so good as we see what makes each character so special...Batman shows off some major detective skills as well as planning way ahead while Superman is just a caring hero who would do anything for a guy he just met.  Add Lobo and a murder mystery to the mix and we have ourselves a winner.  A huge winner that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. While I would have loved to see this arc get a few more issues to stretch its legs, I don't really have all that much to complain about in the final product. Sure, some threads were wrapped up a bit hastily and there's still a little mud on the window, but Taylor'scharacters are written so well, and drawn so well by Rocha, that I can only smile each time I look at this book and its two predecessors. Final Thoughts: I absolutely love this arc. Of the many DC books I read, this arc is probably one of the more exciting books for me to read at the moment along with Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. My only hesitancy in rating this issue higher than a four is it did seem a little rushed for a finale. Overall, the arc felt short. I doubt that Tom Taylor couldnt have stretched this storyline into two or three more issues. At the same time, I also understand that many of DCs writers are wrapping up their current books while most likely getting a jump on the Rebirth title/s they may be on so it makes sense. With all that being said, I consider that flaw to be far outnumbered by the exciting arc, fun dialogue and gorgeous art. Read Full Review

While it has beautiful moments, this book is dull overall. The villains just aren't interesting. They're given little characterization or development and pose no threat to our heroes. They come across as cannon fodder which is disappointing because the art is great and the giant could be a terrific threat. I want to say that it's worth buying the issue for the ending but ultimately, I think it's best to wait for trade on this one. Read Full Review

this issue (and arc in general) was ok. nothing you need to run out an buy. still it was better than the recent Batman/Superman stories with T-Shirt Superman and Robo-Bat Jim Gordon. there were some predictable moments, and gags that have been used many times before in Batman/Superman stories of the past.
the failed New 52 Lobo will not be missed! hopefully after DC Rebirth we'll actually get The Main Man back? DC what were you thinking?
