But Why Tho? - William Tucker Dec 22, 2020

Black Adam: Endless Winter Special #1 is the best issue of the crossover so far. Lanning and Marx have saved Adams fury until now, unleashing all of it in one comic. The fights are frantic and the stakes keep getting higher. And Black Adam is almost as much of a monster as the Frost King. The art team did an incredible job of letting the action tell most of the story. Read Full Review

For those who have event fatigue, know it's nice to see a story told in nine parts so quickly, and by that metric, "Endless Winter" succeeds. This is the comic for fans who want to enjoy their favorite DC Comics heroes apart from big continuity and it's a nice aside before things take a big swing as DC Future State kicks off in January. For that, this event works and this issue sets the pieces in place for what will assuredly be a rousing experience. Read Full Review

Black Adam: Endless Winter Special #1 " as this is a "filler" issue that features Black Adam, I would hope that DC would explore more of Black Adam and possibly feature an 8-12 issue run for him. This was a good start"let's see how he plays out in the ultimate defeat of the Frost King. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Eric Shea Dec 22, 2020

While you'll get some great art and some big ol' fight scenes with a bunch of different characters, we've pretty much just padded this event out to this point, where here we set things up for the final battle, and while there is some action-y fun to be had here, it just really doesn't do enough and brings back concepts that were never really spelled out all that well to begin with.
