A solid issue that has an absurd plot. I laughed at the histrionics of it all and a part of me feels like that was the point but if so it somewhat undermines the premise of the story so far. But hey it was good reading. The visuals are outstanding.
For this, I feel like it is best to start off with my main criticisms: 1: Veidt's language. Listen, I know to read you gotta know some synonyms and stuff, but tryna decipher what Veidt is saying at times is very difficult, and often pulls me out of important moments like when he poisoned his subordinates, I was too focused on keeping up with his dialogue I didnt notice these guys were dead and didnt notice the foreshadowing, hurting this sequence of panels in the process. 2: Art miscolorings often dampen the impact of rather impactful scenes 3: Slow start, the start of this issue is rather slow, and how the other four issues before it started compared to this, this issue just starts at a freakishly poor pace, which sucks. 4: God damn piratemore
i think there's this odd assumption that people want to know EVERY thought you've wanted to put into a comic book
