personally top 3 best comic book series of all time. The finale is still haunting
this is comics's greatest series and graphic novel of all time and i don't think it will ever be topped.
A nice enough ending that kinda brings about the conspiracy of A New World Order. I don’t fully buy it but ok as with all things it built on a house of cards and The journal is about to possibly be published.
Listen, I love this issue, and not gonna lie as an ending, its a perfect conclusion to the story that is Watchmen. Seriously, many series want a conclusion so tied up yet so open ended and so satisfying, I wish I could write half as good as Moore did for this ending, especially with allat symbolism too man this is too elite. Sadly, this still achieves a score of 8/10, but not mainly for anything doing with the writing, and I have multiple critiques for this issue. First off, the art this issue was seriously inconsistent, there were some bad panels beforehand, but seriously, this looked like they had 2 weeks to complete this issue instead of 4, some of the art is extremely awesome and other parts of it just sadly fall flat. Either way thoughmore
This series starts off well enough but by the end gets bogged down with its multiple minor storylines and excessive dialogue. The Black Freighter story was tedious to read and just a distraction from the main story.
ironic that the storyline averts a potential nuclear war by promising a better future while also taking every interesting character and making them so dull that you don't care what happens next to them.
