Very rarely does a series debut with a challenging concept and raise the bar with each passing page. ACE has found a way to challenge the time concepts with an unmatched emotional counter punch. Camps writing hits all the marks. Its matched by Zawadzki and company blending multiple elements through incredible imagery. There is nothing like this series on the market. Read Full Review
Assorted Crisis Events #2does not disappoint in the sophomoric issue which works on many levels and uses both words and art to tell a great story. Read Full Review
And then theres the drip of the blood in the background as the story continues. The gutter between the panels is progressively more and more saturated with the dripping of the blood as Jesus is lost further and further into the life that he must lead. Its powerful stuff from beginning to end...and the dizzy nonlinearity of it all only s eves to amplify the tension as the story jumps around A LOT. Its fascinating stuff that really embraces the dramatic potential of the comic book page in a way that doesnt happen very often. Read Full Review

While the first issue of Assorted Crisis Event intrigued me, Assorted Crisis Events #2 left me gob-smacked. Masterful work on all fronts by emerging talents is what I love to see, and this issue has it in spades. Read Full Review
Zawadski delivers some beautifully detailed and visually compelling art throughout the issue. Read Full Review
Assorted Crisis Events #2 is a mesmerizing, emotionally raw entry in the anthology series that blends psychological horror with social critique. While it doesn't offer the same narrative clarity as the debut issue, it more than makes up for it in bold storytelling and visual innovation. It's a challenging read, but one that rewards attention and introspection. Read Full Review
The focus on a single life amid a massive universal upheaval is a wonderful premise, but this one feels a little bit overwritten for my tastes. Read Full Review
Gorgeously rendered artwork barely saves this book. I've read comics for 30 plus years now. I have never been this grossed out by anything I've read before. Read Full Review
I felt like I was having a panic attack (that’s a compliment)
So meticulously wrought and allusively powerful that it's practically a poem
Well written and thought provoking, but grossss
I don’t think this series has found its footing just yet.
Execution a little off.
I couldn't connect with this issue at all. While it's visually stunning and showcases innovative storytelling, I found myself confused as a reader and unable to fully grasp the story. I really gave it a try, but it fell short of what I had hoped for after a great first issue.
