END OF STORY ARC
"SPLIT THE PARTY," Conclusion
Forget escaping DIE.
Every month another issue of DIE comes out and I fall in love again, and DIE #10 is no different. It has the perfect blend of high fantasy, self-awareness, and bleak interpersonal drama to be eternally compelling. I cannot wait to see where this series goes and what else the creative team does with it. I highly recommend this issue, not that it should surprise anyone that I've done so. Read Full Review

Stephanie Hans beautiful art perfectly complements the tone of this story and there are some magnificent visual moments throughout. Hans' style brings in the energy and dark tone of the story with the beauty and grace of the character. I love every scene Ash is in because Hans makes her look equally radiant and dangerous. As the end of the story arc for ‘Split The Party' Die #10 changed the game in a dramatic way moving forward. THE GOOD:
-This series is never not good.
-Stephanie Hans is just such a powerful artist. She's able to communicate so many emotions, atmospheres and ideas through her work. It's actually quite remarkable.
-Wow. Ash's character is so broken, so complex. I just love it.
-The backstory was just so powerful, without even showing or really telling the reader anything directly.
-Kieron Gillen is an amazing writer. The narration feels novel-worthy, the concepts are just so creative and the emotion is incredible.
-Honestly, I feel like this is the type of comic where the bad guy could win. I mean, hell, the main character from the first arc became the bad guy, so I wouldn't put more
This comic is the definition of 'meh'. It's not bad, but it's not that good either.
