    Spartantown - Enrique Rea Mar 14, 2018

'No. 1 With A Bullet' reaches its Hitchcockian twist and blows the doors open on this suspenseful tech thriller. Once again, Semahn balances an emotional arc with the cold-blooded precision of a mad doctor opening up a patient like a pinata. Kudos to Semahn, Corona, and Hickman for still being able to surprise readers and attack every one of our emotions.  Read Full Review

Horror DNA - James Ferguson Mar 24, 2018

No. 1 with a Bullet has gone from technological horror to social media thriller and back again. This is a gripping read full of real world terror. It deals with events that could very much happen in the not too distant future and that is a chilling thought. At this point, it's only a matter of time before this story plays out in real life. A shocking twist along with some of Corona's best and creepiest work on the title to date bring this one to the top of the pack. Defying a mystery that has been building since its inception, the issue reveals that things are not at all what they seemed. Especially if you think you have everything figured out. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Andrew McAvoy Mar 17, 2018

This book really spears the fickle and dull-minded forum of social media. The writing is clean and crisp. We are left with a really traumatic cliffhanger with this issue. This is a really clever series with uniquely quirky and stylish art and layout. I really, dearly want to continue on with the stories of these characters and continue to visit this world after the conclusion of this storyline. I understand, however, that it will finish after this arc and I am really saddened by that fact. I love everything about this book. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Cat Wyatt Mar 14, 2018

The artwork for this issue was great, as always. The vibrant colors add a new element to the rough nature of what is happening to Nash. It's emotionally garish, in a sense. The scene at the end, with Nash trying to put her contacts in is somewhat graphic, so those sensitive to eye images like that should consider themselves warned. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Kevin Given Mar 16, 2018

A great chapter that answers a lot of questions and raises many more. Is Grover on the right trail? Is he closer to solving the mystery or is there more that he doesn't yet know about? Is Jad actually dead? Nash gets deeper involved in Vi's plight and shows real concern about her friend, even though there's something sinister about the whole situation. And what happens when Nash puts her contacts"to be continued. ***1/2 (8.8 rating) Read Full Review
