The Department of Truth #11 is a standout issue in an already amazing series. I just love digging into this fascinating world of shifting reality that Tynion has constructed. This some truly ground-breaking storytelling. Read Full Review

Simmonds delivers some beautifully imaginative visuals throughout this issue. I enjoyed the hand written pages more in this issue than the last and the rest of the imagery is beautifully done and immersive. Read Full Review

At least the script is. Tynion does a great job building this world and making everything seamless. The art always takes me out of the book. It is not something visually that is pleasing in any way. That being said, this is a good issue overall. Read Full Review

I'm not sure that was always the plan or an evolution of the story, but it at least makes the comic feel a little more aware of the topics and the "reality" of conspiracies and their actual toll on society. Read Full Review

Excellent ending to an arc; also gives more context to what the Department actually does.

Comics don't move me often, but this arc, and specifically this issue, really struck a chord. It was a beautiful and heartbreaking ending to this little story. If this is the way they keep going, I feel like this will cement itself as one of my favorite books I've ever picked up.

This side of the beliefs (the wonder, the joking, the bizarre, the pain), it is humanity at its best and worst. I never tought DoT would make me feel like this. This is a sad heartbreaking story. The Last Hunt of a lost man. Lost in his past, in his beliefs. His faith concluded in an impossible truth that nobody is going to know. The artistic choice of the letter was beautiful, this second part of the story is as well written as the first. Definitely one of my favorites issues so far.

I really wasn't expecting that ending. Kudos to the creators for keeping me on my toes. I was sure the Bigfoot junkie was gonna be killed. Anyway, this was a fantastic two-parter and I really want to see Cole go on more missions like this.

Another home run of an issue. Tynion's really getting at something fundamentally true and heartbreaking here among all the conspiracy. The way believing in stuff like this or Qanon or "crisis actors" can destroy relationships and families is just crushing. Hardcore conspiracy theorists don't have the greatest ability to take in information and decide what's true and what's obviously a lie and they want to believe so badly. That leads to the rest of their friends/family getting tired of trying to reason a them out of a position that they didn't use reason to get into in the first place. At a certain point everyone just gives up, quits and goes their separate ways it's incredibly sad.

I thought this big foot arc was pretty great. I love this series and this book was a great look on something ive always thought about myself.

I really like how much this issue, and this arc, delved into how much conspiracism can destroy people's lives. But god damn, I really hate the design of the 8 pages of text in this issue. They are a chore to read, despite that being where all the greatness in the story comes from.
